Camp owners have called CampMinder “a necessity,” “the best investment [they’ve] made in the last 10 years,” and “responsible for ten to twelve thousand dollars in savings per year.” This kind of success is the result of CampMinder’s old-fashioned service philosophy. CampMinder is a client-focused company that puts servicing its clients ahead of generating new business. It’s no surprise, then, that 95% of CampMinder’s clients have come from direct, word-of-mouth referrals from other leading camps.
CampMinder’s management team has a combined 65 years of camp experience, not to mention its abundance of technology experience. CampMinder’s unique understanding of both camp and technology is the driving force behind the company’s rapid success.
CampMinder's Management Team Is:
Dan Konigsberg, Founder/President
CampMinder is the brainchild of Dan Konigsberg, former camper, counselor, and administrator at Maine’s prestigious Camp Takajo. Following his experience at Camp Takajo, Dan had a multitude of ideas on how to streamline camp management by utilizing the Internet. Prior to starting CampMinder, Dan attended Atlanta’s Emory University with a major in Economics and a minor in Computer Science. Dan graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to attending Emory, he was proud to be the driving force of nancies.org, a not-for-profit website dedicated to the Dave Matthews Band that won two VH1 MyMusic Awards in 2000 and 2001.
Paul Berliner, Director of Business Development
Paul Berliner is an avid outdoorsman who lives in Boulder, Colorado. He began his camp experience at Pennsylvania's Camp Saginaw as a seven year-old, full-season camper, where he attended every summer for the next ten years. Paul is working on the constant development of CampMinder to ensure it fits the unique requirements of each camp as well as the changing needs of the industry. He has also spearheaded additional projects, including eConscious Camps and CampInTouch to strengthen the camp community.
Joseph Norris, President of Client Relations and System Design
Joe Norris’ experience crosses many boundaries – ranging from being a master carpenter, a practicing psychologist, and a musical composer/conductor, to designing the earliest database systems and computer systems for fighter jets, hospitals, as well as a custom management system for Pennsylvania’s Camp Saginaw. Joe’s design ability and uncanny understanding of the human mind and how it interacts with technology makes him an invaluable asset to CampMinder’s core team.
Stuart Miller, President of Technology
Stuart Miller was born to play an important role in the camp industry, as son of Libby and Jim Miller, owners/directors of Tuxedo, North Carolina’s prestigious Camp Greystone. Following many years as a member of the United States Marines and as president of an aquatics crafts company in North Carolina, Stuart’s combined love and technical knowledge of computer programming and camp led him to apply his unique gifts to CampMinder. Stuart has the all-important responsibility of managing CampMinder’s entire technical staff.
