CampMinder is a company of and for the camp industry. According to CampMinder’s Founder/President, Dan Konigsberg, “I started CampMinder to better the camp industry. I learned many of my core ideals and beliefs – honesty, integrity, friendliness, sportsmanship, self-reliance, tolerance, love, and loyalty – at my alma mater, Camp Takajo.”
“My camp experience shaped me and nurtured my positive energy and entrepreneurial spirit. CampMinder’s mission is to ensure that children everywhere can benefit from the same kind of wonderful experience I did as a child. We accomplish this by making it easier for camp directors to do what they love.”
CampMinder has been proud to be an active supporter of the camp industry in many ways, most visibly through its sponsorships of many of the industry’s largest camp conferences.
From the beginning, CampMinder has given back to the community with its sponsorship of the Ben Appelbaum Day Camp Conference and Joe Kruger Youth Development Conference in 2003. As CampMinder has grown, your support has grown with the sponsorship of the Morry Stein Fall Management Conference in 2004, the Tri-State Camp Conference in 2005 and 2006 and the Fall EPIC Conference in 2006.
